Planning requirements If the designer cant come to the project site, it is important to supply a plan of the kitchen space including positions of existing plumbing, window positions and heights plus ceiling heights. (This information should be supplied by the architect when he draws permit plans or can be supplied by the cabinet-maker for the initial design. All permits required are the responsibility of the client).

Do you cook or bake specialty foods (e.g. breads, Pastries) If so what types?
Do you entertain a lot? If so is it formal or casual?
Cabinetry requirements Do you have a lot of china or glassware? If so how many sets?
How many sets of cutlery do you have?
Do you have extra large pots, containers or appliances?
Do you require these stored in specific areas or close to certain work centers? If so where:
Do you prefer cupboards or drawers?
Do you like open displays or do you prefer to hide everything behind doors?
Do you require storage for rubbish, Brooms, cleaning equipment, Liquor, Wine, Books etc. If so please list:

Décor requirements If your house is in a certain design style and the kitchen needs to be in that style please supply photos of the exterior and interior of the house. (Snap shots are fine). Magazine photos are also helpful if you like a particular aspect of a kitchen or house.
